Please note not all EICR tests are carried out to the standards required. We will take a minimum of 1.5 - 2 hours for 2 men for even a 1 bedroom flat because thats how long it takes to carry out the job properly sometimes it takes up to 4 hours at the same fixed price. Theres companies carrying out these tests in 20 minutes , unfortunately we have been called out to several homes where people have experienced shocks, to find EICR certificates not filled in correctly and certainly the test not carried out correctly.

- Identify any damaged electrical fittings and accessories
- Identify any exposed live parts
- Identify any insulation breakdown/poor earthing
- Produce a full list of typed defects and recommendations for remedial action
- Provide a free quote and prices for any remedial works required as standard, allowing you to allocate budgets
We also carry out PAT testing. Portable Appliance Testing encompasses various equipment types, from battery operated to mains appliances, including portable, transportable, hand held, stationary and IT equipment. PAT Testing forms an integral part of any health & safety programme which ensures companies comply with Insurance requirements and the Electricity At Work (EAW) Regulations 1989. This is your responsibility if you rent a house and leave any electrical items for use of the customers, e.g washing machine , fridge etc .
